Single-skilled engineers with potential, can be trained in another skill are e.g. Mechanical craftsmen can be trained in basic Electrical disciplines and undertake isolation tasks before replacing a faulty electric motor, thus reducing costs by only needing to call out one person to breakdowns. Similarly Electricians can be introduced to Control and Instrumentation competences.

NVQ Assessment, Internal/External Verification

Colleges and other training institutes no longer have the capability to offer off-the-job training, therefore people learning on-the-job is the way forward. We can undertake enrolment with an Engineering Lead Body, guidance, coaching, mentoring, assessing, verifying and certifying competency of your trainees across a very wide range of disciplines.
